Terms of Service

When booking a project with Felicia Hallen, the following terms apply.

Scope of Work

For each project, the exact scope of work will be confirmed in writing before recording begins. This includes what is to be delivered, the agreed fee, and the expected delivery time. Any requests outside the agreed scope – such as additional harmonies, new lyrics, or mixing and mastering – will be quoted separately.

Payment & Cancellation

Payment must be made in advance via PayPal or Stripe, unless otherwise agreed. In some cases, invoice payment can be arranged upon request.

If a project is cancelled before any work has started, a full refund will be issued. If a project is cancelled after work has begun but before delivery, a partial refund of 50% will be issued to cover time and studio costs. Once the final files have been delivered, no refunds are possible.

Right of Withdrawal (Ångerrätt)

According to EU consumer law, clients normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal when purchasing services online. By booking a project with Felicia Hallen, the client expressly agrees that work may begin immediately and understands that the right of withdrawal does not apply once the final digital files have been delivered.

Under EU law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made goods or services tailored to the client’s specifications. As such, the statutory right of withdrawal is waived once delivery has taken place.

Defective Files / Consumer Rights

If the delivered files are defective, corrupted, or otherwise unusable, the client has the right to request correction or redelivery in accordance with the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (Konsumentköplagen 2022). These statutory consumer rights apply in addition to the terms set out above.

Delivery Timeline

Standard delivery is usually 3–5 business days depending on the project. The delivery timeline begins once the order has been placed, paid in full, and confirmed with clear project instructions and references. Delays in providing necessary information may extend the delivery time. Rush delivery may be available upon request, subject to availability. Exact delivery times will always be confirmed in writing as part of the order details, unless otherwise agreed.

Rights & Usage

Upon full payment, the client receives full commercial rights to use the delivered vocals in their production. The raw vocal files may not be resold or redistributed as a stand-alone product.
For cover songs, the client is responsible for securing any necessary licenses for the composition and/or backing track.

Confidentiality

A formal Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) can be arranged upon request before work begins.

File Delivery & Storage

Final files are normally delivered via email. For larger projects, external services such as WeTransfer, Dropbox, or similar may be used.

Project files may be stored internally by Felicia Hallen for backup and portfolio purposes for an indefinite period. However, clients are fully responsible for downloading and backing up all files promptly after delivery, as continued availability cannot be guaranteed.

Use of Work for Promotion

Unless otherwise agreed, Felicia Hallen reserves the right to use delivered works for promotional purposes (e.g. portfolio, website, or showreel). Confidential projects are excluded if a separate agreement is made.

Force Majeure

In the event of illness, technical failure, or other circumstances beyond control, delivery times may be extended. The client will be informed immediately, and an alternative solution will be arranged in good faith to suit all parties involved.

Credits

Credit to Felicia Hallen is appreciated but not required, unless otherwise agreed.

Communication

To ensure a smooth workflow, clients should provide clear instructions and references before recording begins. All project communication should be conducted via email unless otherwise agreed.

Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by Swedish law. In the event of a dispute, consumers may contact the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
